Kappa men of Hattiesburg organized the Hattiesburg Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in 1960. Hattiesburg Kappa men who were members of the Jackson Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi were joined by other Kappa men of Hattiesburg to form the alumni chapter, which was chartered as the Hattiesburg Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. on October 9, 1960.
